Crazy Crafters February blog hop Occasions Catalogue

Hi Everyone! I hope you are enjoying the blog hop. Here's a few projects I made this week with my brand new goodies from the New Occasions catalogue.(Celebrate The Everyday)

I really like the look of stamping on vellum because you can still see the lovely watercolor background of the new Designer paper Watercolor Wonder. It was so lovely I didn't want to cover it up. Packs of 20 a4 white vellum can be found in the main catalogue on page 156.

Here's a list of supplies I used for this card.

Petite Petals stamps & punch to make the flowers. They are stamped on vellum using versamark and heat embossed in white and then punched out with the matching punch. Some of the flowers are raised on Stampin' Dimentionals to give a bit of depth. The punch & stamps are on page 33 you will save 15% if you buy the punch and stamps in a bundle (clear 134822, wood mount 134821)
The grass in the foreground was cut using the new Fringe scissors(page 31)& sponged with pear pizazz ink to make it green like grass. I also used Watercolor Wonder Designer series paper (page 23) for the background.
The picket fence is made with the word window punch (main catalogue page180) and a couple of strips of paper in whisper white and a candy dot for the gate handle.
The Happy Birthday greeting is also stamped on vellum and heat embossed and they are from the regular catalogue on( page 30 ) Itty Bitty Banners  and I cut it out using the matching framelits page 187 with the bigshot and new magnetic platform which made lining up the stamped image and the framelit so easy with no movement when you roll it through the bigshot. To finish it off with a bit of bling I used the adheshive backed  pearls basic jewels and layered the card front onto a whisper white card base.

I'm really loving the new Scalloped tag punch 133324 on page 35, There are two new different tag punches the other one is called the Angled Tag punch, it's so easy to make a tag you just cut a 2 inch wide strip and put the end in the punch, punch it out and decorate how you please and you can make it how ever long you like. You can also punch both ends and make a sliding tag or belly band for gift boxes too.
The designer paper I used is from the Watercolor Wonder Pack 132994 which has 12 sheets of co-ordinating double sided papers.
